The Engine Shed

The Engine Shed is a live events and entertainment venue at Brayford Pool in Lincoln, available to promoters and organisers for both public shows and private hire. Its industrial setting in a former railway building gives events a distinctive backdrop, while flexible layouts and professional production facilities make the space suitable for a wide range of occasions.

Organisers can host concerts, comedy, club nights and other live performances, as well as conferences, exhibitions, training days, product launches, awards ceremonies, dinners and company celebrations. The main hall can be arranged for different formats, from standing receptions and theatre-style presentations to seated banquets. It can also be divided to create a smaller event area, helping planners match the room to their audience and programme.

The venue has a built-in stage, professional sound and lighting, an LED video wall, dressing rooms and in-house technical support. A licensed bar and hospitality options are available, with the team able to discuss event layouts, timings and production requirements. The venue hire service is designed for organisers who need practical support in preparing and delivering their event, whether they are staging a large public performance or a more formal business gathering.

Alongside the main Engine Shed, the team also operates The Platform, a smaller, adaptable space for live events, private hire and creative projects. Both venues are close to Lincoln city centre and the railway station, making them convenient options for local and visiting guests.
