The Barn at Melan Farm

The Barn at Melan Farm is a countryside venue in Baxley, Georgia, offering spaces for weddings, celebrations and business events. Couples can plan ceremonies and receptions on the farm, while the venue also welcomes birthdays, anniversaries, holiday parties, company retreats, training sessions and corporate family days.

The main enclosed barn provides 5,700 square feet of heated and cooled event space, with capacity for more than 350 guests. Facilities include a catering room, built-in sound system, Wi-Fi and accessible toilets. A balcony overlooks the barn, and a bridal suite upstairs gives the wedding party a private place to get ready, with a bathroom, mirrors, dress storage and a seating area.

For a more open-air setting, the pole barn offers a 50 by 60 foot covered space beside the farm's pond. It has its own sound system, chandeliers and ceiling fans, with access to heated and cooled accessible toilets. The separate Lodge adds another option for smaller gatherings, showers, reunions and ceremonies. It has indoor and outdoor areas, a kitchen, serving bar and sound system, and can seat up to 130 indoors or accommodate up to 160 with the covered patio.

Overnight options on the property include a cabin, a pondside house and guest rooms at the Lodge. These can be useful for wedding parties and guests who want to stay close to the venue. Organisers can contact the team to discuss availability and make arrangements for their event.
