The Claymore

The Claymore is a family-owned event venue in downtown Muskegon, Michigan, offering indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings and a range of other gatherings. Organisers can enquire about the ballroom for celebrations, corporate events, workshops, showers, reunions, themed parties and dinner events. Its setting combines the character of a restored building with an outdoor area shaped by art and nature, giving planners options for different parts of an event.

Weddings are a particular focus. The venue offers packages for ceremonies and receptions, with options intended for intimate weddings and elopements as well as larger or longer celebrations. Depending on the package, couples can arrange use of indoor and outdoor areas, tables, chairs and furniture, bar service, coordination, rehearsal time and support with set-up and breakdown. The available arrangements vary, so planners can discuss which package and additions best suit their plans.

The upstairs loft is a separate 2,500-square-foot apartment that can be hired for small events and group gatherings. With bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen and shared living areas, it can also serve as a place for a bridal party, family reunion or photo shoot. This gives organisers an additional setting for smaller occasions alongside the main event space.

Located among downtown Muskegon's restaurants, bars and cultural attractions, The Claymore invites prospective clients to arrange a viewing and discuss their event. The venue's mix of celebration space, wedding support and a rentable loft makes it a local option for planners seeking a distinctive setting for private or corporate occasions.
