Green Pastures

Green Pastures is an event venue in Austin, Texas, set on a historic estate with a restored farmhouse, landscaped grounds and an on-site boutique hotel. It welcomes couples, businesses and other organisers planning weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, reunions, corporate events and private gatherings.

The estate offers several distinct spaces, ranging from intimate rooms for small dinners or meetings to larger halls and outdoor areas. The Ballroom and Courtyard can host up to 275 guests. Marion Hall and the Pavilion provide an indoor-outdoor option, with capacity for up to 180 guests for a reception or 150 seated. Smaller choices include the Blue Room, private rooms upstairs at Mattie's, and the Caretaker's Cottage with its lawn. This variety lets organisers match the setting to the size and style of their occasion.

The property can accommodate different parts of a celebration in one location, including a ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner and overnight stay. Its farmhouse and oak-shaded grounds offer a more traditional, garden-led setting, while the Ballroom provides a lighter, modern space. The venue also works with a curated group of event professionals familiar with the estate.

Mattie's, the property's restaurant, serves seasonal Southern-inspired food and offers private dining options. Organisers can enquire with the events team about spaces, arrange a tour and discuss the practical details of their plans. Green Pastures suits event planners seeking a distinctive Austin setting with a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces, dining on site and accommodation close at hand.
