Cincinnati Nature Center

Cincinnati Nature Center offers a collection of distinctive venues at its Rowe Woods site in Milford, Ohio, where historic buildings and woodland surroundings provide a setting for private celebrations and professional gatherings. Organisers can choose between Groesbeck Estate and Krippendorf Lodge, two historic properties with indoor rooms and outdoor spaces, or enquire about smaller group options at Fernwood Shelter and Krehbiel Pavilion.

Groesbeck Estate suits weddings, receptions, corporate retreats, meetings and other private functions. Its setting includes woodland views, a landscaped garden, a front terrace and the covered Tritsch Terrace, which can accommodate larger gatherings with a seasonal tent. Indoor rooms can be used for ceremonies, meals, cocktail receptions or breakout sessions, and an upstairs suite gives wedding parties a private place to prepare. Catering options are available, with buffet and seated service formats.

At Krippendorf Lodge, guests can gather in flexible interior rooms, on the covered porch or on the stone terrace overlooking the surrounding forest. The venue accommodates up to 75 guests indoors, with outdoor capacity of up to 220 from May through October. It is presented for weddings, corporate meetings, retreats and community gatherings.

For outdoor celebrations and informal group events, Fernwood Shelter includes picnic tables and a kitchen, while Krehbiel Pavilion is suited to children’s parties and smaller gatherings. Event planners can contact the venue team to discuss their event, explore the spaces and arrange a tour.
