University Club

University Club is an event venue in Pittsburgh's Oakland neighbourhood, offering a choice of historic rooms for weddings, social celebrations, meetings and conferences. The building combines period character, including a grand lobby, traditional ballrooms and a library, with practical facilities for contemporary gatherings. Its location on the University of Pittsburgh campus makes it a convenient option for university, community and corporate event planners.

The venue has two ballrooms, several conference rooms, a boardroom, a library and a rooftop terrace. The larger Ballroom B can host wedding receptions, dinners, conferences, showcases and fairs, while Ballroom A suits presentations, meetings, receptions and smaller graduation celebrations. More intimate rooms are available for training sessions, interviews, breakout discussions, private meals and board meetings. In warmer months, the terrace provides an outdoor setting for receptions, dinners and social events, with views across the campus.

University Club also welcomes couples planning weddings, with a dedicated venue coordinator to help with arrangements and on-the-day schedules. Its wedding offering can bring together a terrace gathering and a ballroom reception, supported by the venue's culinary team. In-house catering and bar options are available, alongside furniture, seating and house linens.

For business and academic events, the venue provides audiovisual facilities such as projection, screens, microphones, built-in audio and technical support. Hybrid and virtual meeting capabilities are also available. With a mix of event spaces, food and beverage service, and planning assistance, University Club can accommodate both smaller gatherings and larger occasions, with room layouts and services selected to suit the event.
