Bürgerhaus Dudweiler in Saarbrücken offers event rooms for hire for private celebrations, club events and commercial events. Its centrepiece is the large, circular hall, which offers different amounts of space depending on the seating layout and how it is used. Without seating, up to 580 people can celebrate or get together there; with the boxes on the ground floor, events for up to 800 people are possible. With theatre-style seating, the hall can accommodate up to 372 people, depending on the layout, and with banquet seating, up to 257.

For smaller groups, there is also a district council chamber measuring 70 square metres, two communal rooms measuring 42 and 46 square metres respectively, and an artist’s studio measuring 45 square metres. Communal Rooms II and III can only be booked in conjunction with certain other rooms. The large hall has a sound system, a conference system and microphones. Various seating plans are available for planning. Alternative layouts must be approved in advance by the responsible building supervisory authority.

The building is largely accessible and has a lift as well as an underground car park directly beneath it. Further parking is available nearby. Catering at Bürgerhaus is provided by a tenant, so event organisers should discuss catering directly with them before booking. To make a reservation, interested parties should contact the relevant contact person at the state capital of Saarbrücken. The city recommends making enquiries no later than four weeks before the event date. The rental conditions and charges are subject to the city’s current regulations.
