Richmond Athletic Ground (The RAG)

Richmond Athletic Ground, also known as The RAG, is a venue for hire in Richmond, south-west London. Set within a historic 26-acre sports ground, it offers flexible indoor rooms and extensive outdoor space for private celebrations and business events. The site is a short walk from Richmond station and has more than 300 on-site parking spaces.

The two main function rooms, the Murray Judd Room and the Club Room, are available for meetings, training sessions, conferences, parties, wedding receptions and wakes. The larger room can seat up to 150 guests, while the venue can accommodate private parties of up to 300 people. Both rooms have been refurbished and offer screens and PA equipment. Meeting facilities include Wi-Fi, presentation screens, wireless microphones and a lectern, with event support available from the venue team.

For weddings, the rooms provide a flexible setting that couples can style to suit their celebration, with outdoor areas for guests and catering options available. The in-house hospitality team can also provide food for other bookings, from formal dinners to barbecues and simpler buffet options. Bars operate at the venue, and organisers can discuss room arrangements, catering and event requirements with the team.

The wider grounds offer additional space for outdoor events and sporting activities. The venue also welcomes enquiries for commercial filming, production offices and crew parking. With public transport links, generous parking and a choice of indoor and outdoor facilities, Richmond Athletic Ground can suit organisers planning anything from a business meeting to a large private gathering.
