glór

glór is a theatre and arts venue in Ennis, County Clare, that also welcomes organisers looking for a distinctive setting for conferences, meetings, workshops and other events. Its spaces range from a large auditorium to smaller rooms suited to more focused gatherings, so organisers can discuss a format that fits their programme and audience.

The auditorium has flexible tiered seating and a stage, with theatrical lighting and sound, projection and recording facilities. It can accommodate around 485 people, depending on the configuration. For smaller sessions, the studio provides a more intimate setting for talks, workshops or breakout activities, with its own projection and technical facilities. A separate meeting room is available for groups of around 15 to 20.

The venue can also host banquet-style functions and lecture-format events. On-site catering facilities and external catering options are available, and organisers can ask the team about the arrangements and services suited to their event. A dedicated exhibition area, wireless internet and technical support add useful options for presentations and displays.

As an established performance venue, glór is particularly well suited to events that benefit from a stage, an auditorium or a cultural setting. Its team discusses hire enquiries individually, including availability and rates, for conferences, launches, meetings, workshops and shows. The accessible building, nearby parking and location close to Ennis town centre are practical considerations for organisers planning an event in County Clare.
