Speicher am Kaufhauskanal

Blohmstraße 22, 21079 Hamburg, Germany

Speicher am Kaufhauskanal is an event venue in Harburg's inland port, combining historic architecture with versatile event spaces. The listed half-timbered building dates back to 1827 and has been equipped for today's event formats. There is a total of more than 800 square metres of space across two floors. The rooms can be arranged flexibly and accommodate events with up to 400 guests.

Speicher am Kaufhauskanal is suitable for weddings, corporate events, conferences, congresses and private celebrations such as birthdays or anniversaries. Couples can hold both celebrant-led and civil wedding ceremonies on site. The event spaces can be arranged for different formats, such as a reception, a seated dinner, talks or workshops. The rooms are complemented by a foyer with a bar, a hall with a stage and a spacious outdoor area. The terrace and outdoor area are beside the Kaufhauskanal and provide space for receptions or outdoor breaks.

For business events, event planners can use the open spaces for formats such as theatre-style seating, workshops or exhibitions. Catering and event technology are organised in collaboration with experienced partners. For private celebrations, the venue provides its own furniture and a range of decoration options. Seating, decoration, catering and the schedule for a wedding can also be coordinated with partners.

The venue is accessible for people with reduced mobility, including the terrace. Parking is available directly at the building, and Speicher am Kaufhauskanal is also connected to public transport. The venue therefore offers a distinctive setting for event planners looking for a historic venue with flexible spaces and an outdoor area by the water.
