Chester le Street Masonic Centre

Chester le Street Masonic Centre offers rooms for hire for private celebrations, community groups and other organised gatherings in Chester-le-Street. Its main hall can seat up to 100 guests for a buffet-style event, or around 70 in a cabaret layout, with space for a dance floor and a stage for live music or a DJ. A bar is also available, serving drinks for guests during events.

The venue welcomes bookings for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, christenings and funeral receptions, as well as club dinners, presentation evenings and guest events. The smaller lounge provides a more intimate option for meetings, regular group sessions and informal gatherings. Organisers can visit the public lounge to get a feel for the setting before making an enquiry.

Food can be arranged through the centre's on-site kitchen. Options include finger-food buffets, hot buffet meals and plated dining, with vegetarian choices and provision for dietary requirements. Table coverings, chair covers and table decorations can also be discussed when planning the room setup.

The centre is close to Chester-le-Street railway station and local bus stops, with parking nearby. Its combination of function space, bar, food options and event facilities makes it a practical choice for organisers looking for a local venue for a celebration or group occasion. Contact the team to discuss availability, guest numbers, catering and the arrangements needed for your event.
