AK Diamond J Ranch

AK Diamond J Ranch is a family-run wedding and event venue on a 25-acre ranch and peony farm near Homer, Alaska. Its setting combines open countryside with views towards Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountains and nearby glaciers, creating a distinctive backdrop for ceremonies, receptions and wedding photographs.

The property brings together several spaces for different parts of a celebration. The Heritage Barn offers a rustic indoor setting, while the timber-frame pavilion provides covered space outdoors. A lawn, deck and wider grounds give guests room to gather outside, and the ranch's horses and other farm features add character to the surroundings. Couples can arrange photographs around the property, including with the horses.

Venue hire is available as a single-day or weekend package. The longer option allows time for preparations and a rehearsal as well as the wedding day. Packages include furniture such as tables and chairs, decorative pieces, lighting and sound equipment, with further practical provisions for hosting guests. The on-site house includes a bridal suite, kitchen and accommodation for up to six people, making it useful for getting ready and spending time together around the celebration.

The family works with couples and their chosen suppliers during planning, offering help with layout, design and coordination. Day-of coordination is also available as an optional service. The ranch welcomes enquiries about dates and visits by appointment, so event planners and couples can discuss the spaces and package options before booking.
