The Ballroom at the Carlos Center

The Ballroom at the Carlos Center is an event venue in Atlanta for organisers planning weddings, corporate functions and social celebrations. Its main ballroom offers more than 12,000 square feet of space, with room for events of up to 1,500 guests. Dividing the ballroom into smaller areas can help accommodate different event sizes and formats.

The venue also has a grand atrium for arrival or pre-event gatherings, three meeting rooms and a 700-square-foot parlor. This mix of spaces gives planners options for conferences, meetings, networking events, wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, anniversaries and galas. The rooms can be arranged to suit the occasion, while the atrium and parlor provide alternatives to using the ballroom for every part of a programme.

Wedding packages are available, and the venue also promotes corporate and social event use. Free on-site parking is provided for guests. The facility is part of the Thalia N. Carlos Hellenic Community Center, which is owned and operated in connection with the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation. The centre notes that requests to use its facilities are subject to its policies and religious traditions, so organisers should discuss their plans with the venue team before booking.

For event planners seeking a substantial Atlanta venue with several room options, the Carlos Center offers a single location for large gatherings as well as more contained meetings and receptions. Contact the venue team to enquire about dates, layouts, packages and arrangements for a specific event.
