The Barn at Pine View

Set on a 340-acre farm near Keysville, The Barn at Pine View offers a rural setting for weddings and other private celebrations in Southside Virginia. Its main event space is a climate-controlled timber-frame barn of around 9,000 square feet, with capacity for up to 300 guests. The countryside location, with woods, pastures, creeks and a lake, gives organisers a choice of indoor and outdoor backdrops for ceremonies, receptions and photographs.

Wedding packages include exclusive use of the barn and a choice of ceremony location. Tables and chairs are provided, with additional seating available for outdoor ceremonies. The venue also has a covered porch, indoor and outdoor balconies, fireplaces, a bar area and a full kitchen for use by the couple's chosen caterer. Outside vendors are welcome, giving event planners flexibility when arranging food, styling and other services.

Separate getting-ready spaces include a bridal suite and a groom's bungalow, each with a private bathroom. Depending on the package, practical support can include set-up and take-down, clean-up, parking direction and golf-cart transport around the grounds. Other features include an indoor PA system, TVs for slideshows and lawn games.

Alongside weddings, the property welcomes occasions such as birthdays, receptions and other gatherings. The family-run team invites prospective clients to arrange a tour and discuss the event type, package and date. Its countryside position offers a quieter alternative to a town-centre venue while remaining within reach of several Virginia communities.
