Temple Theatre

Temple Theatre is a historic Tacoma venue available for organisers planning weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings, parties and live performances. Its distinctive Egyptian Revival and Art Deco character gives events a striking setting, while its scale and theatre layout suit both audience-focused productions and larger celebrations. The venue is part of Tacoma's Landmark Convention Center, which handles enquiries for private and corporate events.

The theatre offers around 15,000 square feet of space, with a main floor and balcony. Published capacity figures vary by layout: it can accommodate up to 1,620 people in theatre seating, 500 in a classroom arrangement or 580 for a banquet. These options make it suitable for performances, presentations, dinners and receptions, depending on the organiser's plans and chosen setup.

For productions, the venue has a proscenium stage, backstage dressing rooms, a fly system, installed sound equipment and stage lighting. The theatre's technical facilities support concerts and other staged events, while the historic interior provides a distinctive backdrop for celebrations and business functions. Organisers can contact the Landmark sales office to discuss availability and event requirements.

The venue is in central Tacoma, with public transport and parking options nearby. Its combination of historic architecture, substantial capacity and theatre infrastructure offers event planners a choice of setting for events that need both a memorable room and a performance-ready stage.
