Barlow Woodseats Hall

Barlow Woodseats Hall is a historic countryside venue in Derbyshire, set among gardens, woodland and open landscapes near the Peak District. At its centre is a characterful 16th-century Longbarn, with original timber cruck beams and stonework providing a distinctive setting for celebrations and gatherings.

The Hall offers a dedicated wedding venue for intimate occasions and larger celebrations of up to 100 guests. Couples can arrange exclusive use for the day or make a weekend of it, with the venue team helping shape the timings, food and feel of the celebration. Dining can include canapés, wedding breakfasts, sharing-style meals and late-night wood-fired pizza. The barn also provides a setting for private parties and other gatherings.

For business organisers, the property offers space for corporate retreats, away days, training and meetings, with indoor rooms, cottages and outdoor areas available for different formats. The venue can also work with external activity providers to arrange experiences for groups. Food is available for event bookings, and the Hall hosts one event at a time, allowing organisers to plan around exclusive use.

On-site stays make it easier for guests to remain close to the event. The cottages offer en-suite bedrooms, including accessible accommodation, while furnished bell tents provide a glamping option in the grounds. With its historic barn, countryside setting, event spaces and overnight accommodation, Barlow Woodseats Hall can support occasions that run from a single gathering to a full wedding weekend.
