Murphy Arts District

Murphy Arts District (MAD) is a collection of entertainment spaces in downtown El Dorado, Arkansas, offering event organisers a choice of indoor and outdoor settings. Its best-known spaces include an outdoor amphitheatre for large-scale gatherings and a music hall for concerts, performances and other programmed events. The district also includes smaller areas suited to more intimate occasions, alongside restaurant and cabaret facilities.

Organisers can enquire about hiring a MAD venue for weddings, receptions, banquets, birthday celebrations, corporate functions and public or private concerts. The range of spaces makes the district suitable for events with different formats, from an open-air programme on the lawn to a seated performance or a private gathering in a smaller function area. Some private party spaces have their own bar and lounge seating, with capacities varying by room.

MAD also runs a programme of concerts, festivals, films and community activities, so organisers can consider its venues within a wider, active arts and entertainment district. The outdoor amphitheatre is designed for concerts and festival-style events, while the indoor music hall supports live performances throughout the year. The district's central location places its venues within walking distance of one another, giving planners options when choosing the scale and setting that best suit their guests. For venue hire enquiries, organisers can contact the MAD team directly to discuss the occasion and available spaces.
