Venue Reading

The Meadow Suite is a flexible event space at Park House on the University of Reading's Whiteknights Campus in Reading. Its two-level layout can be arranged for private celebrations, wedding receptions, dinners, meetings, training days and conferences. Depending on the event and room arrangement, the space can accommodate both seated guests and larger standing gatherings.

The upper level can be set for dining, while the lower floor can be used for entertainment, dancing, a stage or additional tables. Large doors open onto a private deck overlooking the campus meadow and lake, giving guests an outdoor area alongside the main room. A licensed bar is located within the suite, and the University's Hospitality team provides food and drink options, from buffet-style meals and barbecues to more formal plated dining.

Organisers can discuss their plans with a dedicated event coordinator, who can help with the room setup and practical arrangements. The suite also has audiovisual and presentation facilities for business events. For meetings and conferences, it can be configured in different layouts, and other campus rooms and larger seasonal facilities may be available through Venue Reading.

The Meadow Suite is part of Venue Reading, which offers bookable spaces across the University's Whiteknights and London Road campuses. The wider venue service supports private functions, weddings, conferences, concerts and other gatherings, with catering and event coordination available. Its campus setting combines a distinctive historic building with green outdoor surroundings, while Reading's transport connections make it accessible to guests travelling from the town and beyond.
