Is eventplanner.net free for non-profits?
The event software has a free plan for everyone, without a time limit. On top of that, eligible non-profits get .PRO for free: registered charities, non-profit organisations and educational institutions with official documentation and a legal representative. Usage costs, such as ticketing fees, e-mails beyond the included ones and AI credits, are not included.

How do we apply for free .PRO?
Send an e-mail to info@eventplanner.net with the name of your organisation and its official documentation, such as your registration as a charity or non-profit. We review every application and let you know. Trade associations, business groups and medical institutions do not qualify.

Do our volunteers need a licence?
No. The volunteers you invite use the free tools of your event without a membership. You choose per tool what they can see and do, and you can limit them to the tasks assigned to them. Volunteers without an account can still get tasks and callsheet lines, and a briefing through a link with a password.

Can we sell tickets for a fundraising event?
Yes. Sell paid tickets with secure Stripe payments: every payment goes straight to your own Stripe account. eventplanner.net charges a small fixed fee per ticket sold, which free .PRO does not cover. You set the VAT rate of every ticket type yourself, also 0% when your event is exempt. Read more about selling tickets online.

Can we track sponsorship and grants in the budget?
Yes. Budgets keep your income next to your costs, so ticket sales, sponsorship and grants sit in the same overview as your expenses. Save a version for every scenario and share the budget with your board or treasurer, without giving them access to the rest of your event.

Every event your organisation runs: fundraising galas and benefit dinners, charity runs and walks, volunteer days, member meetings and general assemblies, awareness campaigns, conferences and community events. When you create an event, choose its type and start from a ready-made checklist.

Where is event data stored, and is the platform GDPR-compliant?
Event data is stored on European infrastructure under EU data-protection law. The platform is ISO 27001 certified, GDPR-compliant by design, and supports role-based access, two-factor authentication, and end-to-end encryption of passwords. Attendee data captured through ticketing and registration is treated as personal data under GDPR, with consent fields built into the registration flow and data export available for your own records.
