What a day!

The entire Rental team was in Rotterdam for the opening party of VT Group's new building, located in the heart of the Port of Rotterdam. The Korenterminal had been moored alongside the quay specifically for the party, a unique and fitting location for a grand opening. With performances by artists like Gerard Joling and Thomas Berge, it was guaranteed to be a fantastic party.

RDJ AV was commissioned to handle the entire technical side of things: both outside on the dock and inside the boat. The brief was clear: the new building had to be truly in the spotlight, the (new) logos had to be visibly projected onto the warehouses, 210 meters of blue carpet had to be brightly lit from the boat to the entrance, and the red-button moment had to be a highlight with confetti and sparkulars. It was a fantastic project that our team had been eagerly anticipating and had prepared down to the last detail.

For outside we took with us, among other things:

- 52 LED wall washes

- 48 battery pots

- 210 meters of blue carpet

- 3 projectors of 7,500 lumens for logo projections

Inside we took care of, among other things:

-The red button

- 4 sparkulars

- Lots of confetti

- A complete DJ set

- 16 moving heads

- 8 LED bars

- And of course, as you've come to expect from us, an excellent sound system!

Everything went smoothly, and the overall picture was exactly what we envisioned in this unique port environment. VT Group, thank you for this wonderful project!
