The Mood Managers
It started with DJs 2.0 and grew into atmosphere makers , in the broadest sense of the word!
First a quick summary:

'Let us get you in the mood!'
In 2017, Bo Risky (Boris) founded ' The Mood Managers '.
Providing music at an event, whether it's a birthday party or an event in the Ziggo Dome, goes beyond just pressing buttons and mixing records.
After working in the hospitality industry for 20 years, he also compares it to this: making people happy!
You can teach anyone to carry a plate, bring it to the guest and then wish them 'enjoy your meal'. Only really making people happy and being an added value to an evening, that determines whether you have 'that real hospitality blood' .
The same goes for DJs. Boris founded his Dutch DJ Academy in 2009 and can make anyone technically a good DJ, is his claim. But that doesn't mean you'll actually become a good DJ, in short Mood Manager (DJ 2.0) ! During individual workshops at his DDA they always hear that people have gained a lot more respect for DJs, that it's a lot harder than it seemed.
The DJ profession has become much more accessible and technically easier with today's technology. As technology improved, from Vinyl to CD, to USB and to Digital, the number of DJs increased exponentially with each step.
DJ, who isn't these days? It's not for nothing that there is a famous Belgian DJ duo called 'Too Many DJ's'. And that applies especially to the Netherlands. So it's understandable that people who are looking can't see the forest for the trees...
In addition to our own Mood Managers, we can also arrange for additional artists, such as saxophonists, trumpeters, singers, percussionists, etc.

The Mood Managers: party whisperers of the highest level
We hired The Mood Managers for a big party (over 800 guests), and they did a fantastic job! They provided a cracking silent disco and the decoration of multiple rooms — everything was arranged down to the last detail.
What was particularly striking was how well they thought along. No standard approach, but real customization that perfectly matched our wishes and the atmosphere of the event. The styling was creative, atmospheric and worked out in detail. And the silent disco? An absolute hit with all the guests!
In short: professional, flexible and super fun to work with. The Mood Managers lift every party to a higher level. Highly recommended!

I have dealt with many aspects of the Mood Managers.
We were the first school in the Netherlands to have the first online school party during Corona time with the Silent Disco Break.
More people (2,500) attended than there are students at our school.
Then, during Corona time, we had an online village party and in 2025 I took DJ lessons from Boris.
Again and again the same aspects that convince me to choose this company; friendly, professional and very flexible in thinking along to get the most out of it.
I definitely recommend working with The Mood Managers!

Stint with driver Koen for the carnival parade in Boskoop

Very well arranged for our invoice.
And of course on the day itself we enjoyed the parade with Stint and driver Koen.
Music was loud enough.
And don't expect the stint to last that long in terms of battery and music.
Stint was also handy for putting our bags in and we had 1 lady on the Stint to operate the music.
Was a great day with good service.

At our last corporate event, Boris from The Mood Managers made a great contribution to the atmosphere. He felt the setting and the audience perfectly, which made his presence certainly contribute to the positive and energetic atmosphere of the day.
