Bill Daniel Student Center

The Bill Daniel Student Center, also known as Baylor’s Student Union Building, offers rooms and shared spaces for meetings, conferences and special events on the university campus in Waco. Its facilities include 11 meeting rooms across several floors, with options such as Barfield Drawing Room, White, Beckham, Fentress and Baines. Organisers can enquire about room availability and request a reservation through the university’s scheduling process. Community organisations and businesses may be able to book at certain times of the year, subject to availability and Baylor’s approval, so external organisers should check access before making plans.

The building also has designated outdoor event areas, including the SUB Bowl, Vera Martin Daniel Plaza, the Quadrangle and Fountain Mall. Separate arrangements are needed for outdoor furniture and equipment. Room facilities and event amenities can support gatherings ranging from smaller meetings to conferences and social occasions, while catering services are available through the university. Charges may apply for conferences, ticketed events and non-Baylor groups.

For a more informal gathering, the Baylor Gameroom on the lower level can be reserved for private use. The space includes bowling lanes, billiards, foosball, shuffleboard and other games, with room for up to 50 people. Guests can bring food and drinks, and may play their own music through the speakers. This campus venue is particularly suited to Baylor-affiliated groups, although limited booking opportunities are also offered to external organisations.
