Sully Community Center

Sully Community Center offers a practical, flexible space for organisers planning gatherings in Sully, Iowa. Its main room measures 50 by 60 feet and can seat approximately 225 people, making it suitable for community functions, meetings, celebrations and other group occasions. The room is available to hire through the City of Sully, with reservations handled by the city office and a rental agreement provided for organisers.

The centre includes a full-size kitchen with serving windows. The rental also provides access to tables, chairs, serving trays, coffee makers, table service and drink coolers, helping groups prepare and serve refreshments on site. A PA system is available, and a television with video playback equipment can be requested. Public restrooms are part of the facility, while the rental policies describe additional kitchen equipment such as a stove, roasters, utensils and a refrigerator.

Organisers can arrange the room to suit their gathering, then return tables and chairs to storage and complete the centre’s cleaning checklist after use. Reservations are managed on a first-come basis through the city office. The facility is a straightforward option for local groups and event organisers who need an indoor room with kitchen facilities and basic event equipment in one location. The City of Sully also makes a larger enclosed shelter house at the town ballpark available to reserve separately, subject to its own arrangements.
