Monterey County Fair & Event Center

Set across 22 oak-dotted acres in Monterey, the Monterey County Fair & Event Center offers a range of indoor and outdoor spaces for event organisers. Its facilities suit weddings, receptions, private celebrations, company gatherings, meetings, conferences, festivals, concerts, fairs and trade shows, with options for both smaller functions and large-scale events.

Four main banquet rooms provide flexible indoor settings. The Monterey Room has a dance floor, built-in bar, sound system and kitchen, while the Salinas and King City rooms offer large open layouts with vaulted ceilings. The Seaside Room provides another carpeted option with a bar and sound system. The rooms can accommodate different event formats, and the largest have capacity for up to 400 seated guests.

Outside, organisers can consider lawns beneath mature oak trees for ceremonies, picnics, barbecues and other gatherings. The grounds also include outdoor concert areas, a stage, barns, carnival space and areas suited to public events and vendor activity.
