With a surface area of 200 m², the room can accommodate up to 50 people. It is particularly suitable for exhibitions, artistic presentations, and events organized by artists, companies, or associations. Applications are reviewed by the cultural department, with priority given to artists from Chambéry, new exhibitors, and local associations. The exhibition calendar is established each year in June.
The space includes display panels with picture rails, pedestals, a lighting system, as well as tables and chairs. This equipment allows for the organization of art exhibitions or cultural events in a venue with a distinctive architectural identity. The space is available free of charge for hosted events, subject to a request to the Cultural Relations department and the availability of the room.
The Vaugelas Chapel is therefore primarily aimed at organizers of cultural and artistic projects seeking an intimate exhibition space in the center of Chambéry. Its limited capacity and historical character make it a suitable venue for human-scale formats, temporary exhibitions, and community events.
