Tournerbury Woods Estate

Set among woodland on the eastern side of Hayling Island, Tournerbury Woods Estate offers an exclusive-use setting for weddings and selected events. The grounds combine a marquee with outdoor spaces beside the harbour, giving organisers a choice of backdrops for ceremonies, receptions, dining and informal gatherings. The venue is close to Chichester Harbour, with views across the water and surrounding countryside.

Couples can hold a legal ceremony at the estate, with licensed options including the Deck, the Gazebo and Woods Cottage. The woodland and lawn also provide outdoor ceremony possibilities. The marquee accommodates dining for up to 250 guests, and venue hire includes facilities such as tables and chairs for up to 150, a dance floor, sound system, lighting and access to the site’s outdoor areas. Only one event is hosted at a time, so the grounds are reserved for the booking.

The estate operates as a dry-hire venue. Organisers choose their own caterers and other suppliers, with the venue able to share recommendations while leaving couples free to make their own arrangements. Woods Cottage can be booked alongside an event for overnight accommodation, and camping may be available as part of an overnight hire. The venue also welcomes corporate bookings, including meetings, conferences, away days, team activities and product launches. Its natural setting and adaptable spaces give organisers room to shape an event around their own programme, suppliers and style. The estate’s management also places emphasis on conservation and reducing the impact of events on the woodland.
