Grey Owl Hollow

Grey Owl Hollow is a nature-led event venue in Rochester, Washington, offering a secluded woodland setting for weddings, family gatherings, retreats and other group occasions. Organisers can bring guests together across the forest, meadow, pond, orchard and labyrinth, with the option to use the indoor Great Hall for meetings, dining and receptions. The hall can accommodate wedding receptions for up to 75 people, and outdoor areas provide a choice of natural backdrops for intimate ceremonies. There is also room for event tents, and the venue welcomes couples of all backgrounds and identities.

Group bookings are offered seasonally, from April through November. Groups can combine their gathering with private camping on the grounds, giving guests time to enjoy the land and spend the evening around a communal fire. Campground facilities include toilets, showers, sinks, hot and cold running water, and electricity for charging devices. Individual fire rings and a central gathering fire ring support relaxed outdoor get-togethers. The site also includes forest paths, open meadow, a pond, an orchard and a walking labyrinth, creating options for both shared activities and quieter moments.

The venue can host a range of outdoor group events, including corporate and church retreats, reunions and organised games. Grey Owl Hollow also offers guided forest and nature therapy walks for businesses and organisations, led by a certified guide. Set between Portland and Seattle, it provides an informal, nature-focused alternative to conventional event spaces, with organisers able to discuss their group size, dates and plans directly with the hosts.
