Second Wind Farm

Second Wind Farm is a countryside destination in Goode, Virginia, offering a rural setting for birthday parties, family reunions and other gatherings. Set across more than 70 acres near Lynchburg and the Blue Ridge Mountains, the property combines open fields and wooded trails with farm scenery, gardens and resident animals. It provides organisers with a distinctive outdoor backdrop for bringing family, friends or groups together away from a conventional function room.

The farm’s website describes opportunities to enjoy the grounds and mentions activities including hiking, axe throwing and cornhole, alongside its equestrian facilities. Horse boarding is currently offered, while the farm says it is taking a sabbatical from lessons, trail rides and camps. These activities are separate from the event venue offer, so organisers should check directly which facilities and experiences are available for their date and group.

The setting may suit informal celebrations and gatherings where a working farm and outdoor landscape are part of the appeal. It is worth discussing the intended event, guest numbers, access to the grounds and any practical requirements with the farm before making plans. The available information does not specify catering, event furniture, indoor rooms or packaged event services, so these should not be assumed to be included. Contact the team to confirm current availability and arrangements for a birthday, reunion or other private gathering at the property.
