Bürgerhaus Schwindegg

The Schwindegg Community Center rents out several rooms for private and public events. The historic complex is located at Am Schloß 8, opposite the castle, and combines restored sections of the building with rooms of varying sizes. Depending on the occasion, organizers can request the main hall, the Bürgerstub'n (a traditional Austrian-style room), the Petrusstüberl (a smaller, more intimate room), the wedding room, or the exhibition spaces.

The main hall is suitable for events with approximately 70 to 80 people. If needed, it can be connected to the former wedding chamber via a larger stage opening. Large windows provide natural light and offer a view of the castle. The smaller "Bürgerstub'n" (a smaller room) is available for events and meetings with up to approximately 55 people. The smaller "Petrusstüberl" (a smaller room) accommodates about 25 guests but is not wheelchair accessible.

For exhibitions, there are two interconnected rooms with display walls. Their restored vaults and columns lend them a special historical character. Civil wedding ceremonies can take place in the wedding room. The outdoor areas of the community center can also be used: The forecourt with its wooden platform and steps offers a suitable reception area, while parking spaces are available to the west of the building.

The municipality of Schwindegg manages booking requests. Those interested can obtain information about availability, costs, and terms of use at the town hall. The community center is therefore suitable for smaller celebrations, meetings, exhibitions, and other occasions where a private space in the historic town center is desired.
