The Manor Trust Bedhampton

The Waterloo Room at The Elms is a characterful venue available to hire in Old Bedhampton, near Havant. It is managed by The Manor Trust Bedhampton, a charity that cares for local heritage properties and supports community life. The room is part of The Elms, a historic Grade II listed property, and is described by the Trust as a Regency-built banqueting hall, with a distinctive Gothic-style tower nearby.

Organisers can enquire about hiring the Waterloo Room for meetings, lectures, training sessions and other events suited to the space. Its historic surroundings offer an alternative to a standard function room for community gatherings, talks, learning sessions and small occasions. The Elms also hosts Trust and community activities during the year, including talks and coffee mornings, giving the property an active local role.

The venue is in Lower Road, Old Bedhampton, and visits to view the room can be arranged by appointment. The Trust advises that there is no parking on site, with free parking available nearby at Bidbury Mead Recreation Ground. For hire enquiries, organisers can contact the Trust Manager by telephone or email. Specific details such as availability, room arrangements, facilities and any event requirements should be discussed directly with the Trust before booking.

The Waterloo Room is a distinctive option for organisers seeking a historic setting for a meeting or gathering in the Havant area, while supporting the charitable work that helps maintain The Elms and its heritage spaces.
