Avalon

Houtjeslaan 53, 1871 VC Schoorl, Netherlands

Avalon is a small-scale meeting and training venue in Schoorl, on the edge of the Schoorl Dunes. Organizers can come here for a meeting, strategy day, team day, leadership program, or multi-day retreat. The location offers various spaces, including The Barn and a yurt. Depending on the program, guests can rent a space or use the entire grounds.

The venue is designed for gatherings where teams wish to step away from their daily work environment. Indoors, there is space for consultation, training, and joint sessions. Outdoors, the natural surroundings invite walks and conversations while on the move. Avalon is located approximately a 45-minute drive from Amsterdam and is suitable for groups of various sizes. Group sizes of 6 to 70 people are mentioned for meetings and programs, with the appropriate setup and content tailored to each request.

Organizers can use the location independently and bring their own program or facilitator. Those seeking more support can opt for The Gathering, a one- to three-day program tailored to the team's goals. Possible components include a guided nature walk, breathing and reflection sessions, and time for group discussions. Avalon also provides on-site meals featuring dishes from its own chef. This allows planners to put together a meeting with space, content, and food all in one place. Avalon focuses primarily on business groups seeking a quiet location for meetings, development, or a multi-day gathering.
