The Gahanna Sanctuary

The Gahanna Sanctuary is a historic event venue in Gahanna, Ohio, offering a distinctive setting for weddings, receptions, parties, anniversaries, meetings and community gatherings. The former church dates from 1895 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its Gothic Revival character, bell tower and stained-glass windows give events a memorable architectural backdrop, while renovations have refreshed the building for contemporary use.

The venue can accommodate up to 280 guests. Organisers can enquire about the main Sanctuary Hall and the Gallery, with layouts suited to different types of celebrations and gatherings. Facilities include a large preparation kitchen, a private suite for getting ready, an outdoor patio and free parking. Tables and chairs are available, and organisers may arrange paid set-up or take-down support. Custom bell tower lighting can also be requested for an event.

Wedding and non-wedding bookings have separate rental options, with hire periods available across weekdays and weekends. The team publishes availability information and invites organisers to make an appointment for a tour, discuss dates and arrange a booking. The venue is shown by appointment, with flexible appointment times. Located near Gahanna’s Creekside District, it is within convenient reach of major roads, Easton Town Centre and John Glenn Columbus International Airport.
