Chicago Symphony Center

Chicago Symphony Center offers event organisers a choice of distinctive spaces in the heart of downtown Chicago. Best known as the home of Orchestra Hall and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the venue also welcomes private and corporate events, from large company meetings to receptions and private concerts.

The building’s range of rooms gives planners options for different event formats and guest numbers. Orchestra Hall provides a grand setting for performances and larger gatherings, while the Grainger Ballroom, Buntrock Hall and the venue’s Club rooms can suit receptions, dinners, presentations and more intimate occasions. Lobby and rotunda spaces can also be used as part of an event, offering places for guests to gather and mingle.

Organisers can work with the venue’s rental events team to discuss availability and plan the use of its facilities. The centre accommodates events of up to 2,500 people, making it a potential choice for substantial company meetings as well as celebratory occasions such as wedding receptions. Approved catering partners are available for events requiring food and drink, and the venue’s event management team can help with arrangements.

Situated on South Michigan Avenue, the centre is close to Millennium Park and Chicago’s Cultural Mile. Its historic architecture, performance facilities and selection of event spaces make it a memorable setting for planners seeking a central Chicago location for a meeting, reception or live event.
