Het Bastion Kessenich
- Vilgertenweg, 3640 Kinrooi, Belgium
Bastion Kessenich is an open-air venue in Kinrooi that the municipality rents out for events. Located on the Maasplassen, the venue offers a spacious outdoor environment for organizers who wish to bring their guests together in a unique setting by the water. The grounds cover approximately 3,600 square meters and are paved, making them suitable for a wide range of activities and festive gatherings.
You can reserve the Bastion for wedding receptions and private parties, among other events. Larger activities and public events also take place there. The open layout gives organizers room to tailor the setup to their own plans. Discuss with the municipality in advance which facilities, permits, and practical arrangements apply to your event, as the grounds are rented out as a venue and the details depend on the organization.
Two public barbecues are located on the outskirts. These are intended for use in accordance with municipal regulations and cannot be reserved for commercial purposes. Furthermore, the Bastion is known as the home of the Bastion Festival. The location and the sweeping view over the Kinrooi Maasplassen give an event a distinctly outdoor character. For information regarding availability and use of the grounds, organizers can contact the cultural department of the Municipality of Kinrooi.
