Gatsby on the Ocean

Set beside the Atlantic at Jones Beach, Gatsby on the Ocean offers event planners a distinctive waterfront setting for weddings and other special occasions. The venue occupies the historic West Bath House in Wantagh, with ocean views, landscaped outdoor areas and indoor function space for celebrations throughout the year. Couples can plan ceremonies and receptions here, while the venue also welcomes corporate functions, fundraisers, holiday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays, graduations, proms and family celebrations.

The venue says it can accommodate groups of around 30 to 260 people. Event options can include outdoor ceremonies, cocktails on the patio and an indoor reception, with the beach and grounds providing space for photographs. The team works with organisers on event arrangements and offers a bridal suite among the facilities. Its location and historic architecture give gatherings a sense of place, while the combination of indoor rooms and outdoor areas provides flexibility for different event formats.

Food is part of the venue experience, with in-house chefs preparing menus for private events. The published options include brunch, buffet service, holiday menus and barbecue, alongside choices for wedding celebrations and other occasions. Organisers can discuss their event requirements and menu plans with the venue's booking team. Gatsby on the Ocean is therefore suited to planners looking for a Jones Beach location with event space, catering and support for both wedding days and a broad range of private or corporate gatherings.
