The Great Hall

The Great Hall is a multi-purpose venue at Swansea University's Bay Campus, available to organisers planning conferences, meetings, workshops, performances, exhibitions and dinners. Its main space, the Sir Stanley Clarke Auditorium, can accommodate up to 700 guests. Retractable seating allows the room to change from a seated auditorium into a large, level floor area, making it suitable for different event formats, from presentations and concerts to exhibitions and gala dinners.

The venue also has smaller spaces for sessions that need a more focused setting. GH043 is a tiered lecture theatre for audiences of up to 382, while GH014 is a flexible room for up to 80 people, with movable tables and chairs for workshops and collaborative activities. A range of layouts is available in the auditorium and flexible rooms, including theatre, classroom, cabaret and exhibition styles.

Event facilities include audiovisual equipment, Wi-Fi, accessible rooms and car parking. On-site catering is available, and a bar area can be arranged on request. The building also includes a café bar with views across Swansea Bay, giving delegates and guests a place to meet between programme sessions.

Set beside the coast and close to the M4, the Great Hall offers event organisers a university campus location with modern facilities and a variety of spaces in one building.
