Het J.W. Racerhuis

Marktstraat 15, 7571 ED Oldenzaal, Netherlands

J.W. Racerhuis is a historic event venue in the centre of Oldenzaal, suitable for weddings, parties, family occasions, meetings and other gatherings. The listed building, modern conservatory and secluded town garden offer a choice of settings for a reception or get-together, right in the city yet sheltered from the bustle.

The neighbouring Koetshuis can also be used. This characterful space is an official wedding venue and is also well suited to lectures, small concerts and exhibitions. For a more intimate party, there is a café area with a bar and terrace next to the skittle alleys. Guests can enjoy a game of skittles together, making it a good fit for birthdays, family celebrations and hen or stag parties, among other occasions.

The venue can host both private and business events. These might include a wedding celebration, a company drinks reception, a meeting or a condolence gathering. The team will be happy to discuss the options by appointment, so that the arrangements suit the group and the type of gathering.

Food and drink can also be part of the occasion. Options include lunch, a buffet, dinner, a walking dinner and snacks. The kitchen can prepare dishes at the venue, and Racerhuis also offers catering support for gatherings held elsewhere. This allows organisers to tailor the venue, its historic character and the catering to their plans. Racerhuis is open by appointment only, so please get in touch in advance to view the space and discuss the options.
