The Millbottom

The Millbottom is an event venue in central Jefferson City, set in a renovated historic power plant. Its industrial character comes through in the original steelwork, arched window and overhead crane, giving organisers a distinctive setting for weddings, corporate functions and social occasions.

The main indoor space covers 4,700 square feet, with an additional 800-square-foot mezzanine. It accommodates up to 300 guests indoors, while combining indoor and outdoor areas can allow for gatherings of up to 1,200. The venue is offered for wedding ceremonies and receptions, company meetings and socials, office retreats, concerts, dinner theatre, family reunions and other private events.

Facilities include a stage, a DJ area, an indoor-outdoor bar, patio space and a preparation kitchen equipped for event caterers. Tables and chairs are provided, and wedding bookings include access to the patio and private parking. The venue has an open-vendor policy for weddings, allowing organisers to select their own suppliers. Post-event building clean-up is included in the wedding package.

The Millbottom offers different rental arrangements, including a weekend wedding package and a Sunday wedding option. Non-wedding events can also be booked, with availability throughout the week.
