In Viuz-en-Sallaz, the François Cheneval-Pallud function hall welcomes individuals and associations looking for a space to hold a reception or event. This versatile municipal hall is suitable for wedding meals, family celebrations, association meals, annual general meetings, bingo and shows. It can also accommodate events with a standing audience.
Capacity varies depending on the chosen layout: up to 250 people for a meal with dancing, 300 for a meal or bingo, 400 for a seated event without tables and 500 for a standing event, subject to the applicable safety regulations. For meals, the large hall can be hired with a kitchen. An option with a kitchen and a large marquee is also available. The kitchen includes cooking and food-warming equipment, as well as a washing-up area. Furniture and tableware are provided in accordance with the arrangements set by the municipality. A bar, cloakroom and toilets complete the facilities described in the rental documents.
The hall is allocated by the day on weekdays and for a longer period at weekends. Requests should be sent to Viuz-en-Sallaz town hall, specifying the date, type of event, expected number of attendees and the applicant's identity. A signed agreement and a security deposit are required to confirm the booking. For weddings, the town hall asks applicants to start the process earlier than for other events.
