Hafen Event UG (haftungsbeschränkt)

Speicherstraße 90, 44147 Dortmund, Germany

Herr Walter is an event ship in Dortmund Harbour, offering event planners and private hosts an exceptional venue for celebrations and gatherings. The former cargo ship is moored on Speicherstraße and combines indoor spaces with various outdoor areas by the water. On board, there is a club area and a bar. The facilities also include sun decks, a beach-style forecourt and a cosy lounge tent. Depending on the weather and the event, the outdoor areas can be used and tents can be heated if required.

The venue is suitable for weddings, birthdays, Christmas parties, corporate celebrations and photo shoots. Depending on the seating and layout, events for around 20 to 800 people can be held on the ship and in the adjoining areas. Event planners can tailor the design and schedule to the occasion and request a bespoke quote. The site also offers flexible options for different event formats and set-ups.

Catering and event technology can be planned to suit the organisers' wishes. Herr Walter works with professional partners to deliver events. This allows organisers to coordinate the key elements of their celebration and incorporate the distinctive areas on board and by the riverbank into their event concept. The maritime character, the combination of ship, decks and beach area, and the location in Dortmund Harbour all shape the setting. For detailed planning, it is advisable to make a direct enquiry, especially if you have a particular area, seating arrangement or weather-dependent outdoor set-up in mind.
