John A. Alario, Sr. Event Center

The John A. Alario, Sr. Event Center is a multi-purpose venue in Westwego, serving organisers looking for adaptable indoor and outdoor event space near New Orleans. Its facilities suit a wide range of bookings, from sporting competitions and trade shows to graduation ceremonies, concerts, receptions, corporate seminars and community gatherings.

The Grand Hall combines Halls A and B into more than 30,000 square feet of floor space. Organisers can configure it for large audiences, exhibitions, banquets or sports, with the layout adjusted to suit the event. Hall C adds a further 19,250 square feet for exhibitions, trade shows and seated functions. The main arena has fixed seating, with extra floor seating available for selected formats.

For smaller gatherings, the centre offers meeting rooms that can be arranged in theatre, classroom, banquet or conference-style layouts, along with a boardroom for more intimate meetings. The Bayou Segnette Sports Complex also includes outdoor festival grounds and Segnette Field, giving planners additional options for events that need space beyond the main building.

Organisers can enquire about renting the different spaces by sharing their event type, date and expected attendance. Availability can vary around the centre's recurring sports tournaments, graduations and other annual bookings, so checking dates in advance is important. With a choice of halls, meeting spaces, arena facilities and outdoor areas, the Alario Center can accommodate events with very different formats and scale.
