The Penthouse at One East Avenue

The Penthouse at One East Avenue is a rooftop event venue in downtown Rochester, set on the eleventh floor of the One East Building. Its mid-century-inspired interior, floor-to-ceiling windows and wraparound outdoor terrace give organisers a distinctive city setting, with views stretching across Rochester and towards Lake Ontario and Bristol Mountain.

The venue welcomes a range of bookings, including wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate meetings, presentations, brand activations, cocktail receptions and private social occasions. Birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, showers, reunions and holiday gatherings are among the celebrations the space can accommodate. At around 4,500 square feet, the interior can be arranged for different event formats, while the terrace offers guests extra room to gather, enjoy the outlook and take a break outdoors.

Capacity depends on the space and event layout. The venue lists seating for up to 130 for corporate and social functions. Wedding arrangements include ceremonies for up to 75 seated guests on the eleventh floor, receptions for up to 100 seated guests, and outdoor courtyard ceremonies for up to 100.

Organisers can work with the venue's planning team to shape the event and coordinate with outside suppliers. A room-specific audiovisual package supports presentations and business gatherings. The Penthouse offers a personal tour for prospective clients, and its central location places it beside Parcel 5 and across from Liberty Pole. It is suited to planners seeking an urban Rochester setting for a gathering where skyline views and access to an outdoor terrace are part of the venue experience.
