Salles des Abattoirs in Ancenis-Saint-Géréon comprises several municipal venues available to hire. The site includes meeting rooms of different sizes, as well as spaces suitable for dance, theatre rehearsals and relaxation activities. This variety allows associations, individuals and various organisations to find a room for occasional or regular use.

For meetings, the Montesquieu room can accommodate up to 40 people and the Molière room up to 30. La Bruyère and La Fontaine are smaller rooms, for 19 and 10 people respectively. Tables and chairs are listed for these spaces. The Petipa and Montaigne rooms are intended in particular for dance and rehearsals. Other rooms on the upper floor are set aside for relaxation activities.

Les Abattoirs are therefore best suited to organisers looking for a local space for a meeting, an association activity, a workshop or a rehearsal, rather than a large reception venue. Capacities and uses vary from room to room, making it possible to choose a layout suited to a small group. The municipal hire service can provide applicants with information about availability, booking arrangements and rates. The city also provides a floor plan of the rooms and accessibility information. Bookings can be requested online, subject to the conditions that apply to each room.
