Sparkassen-Waldbühne is an open-air venue in Vier-Jahreszeiten-Park in Oelde. Set among the parkland, it provides a setting for concerts and other outdoor stage events. The events calendar features a range of musical genres and formats, including rock and metal concerts, orchestral performances, comedy and cultural events in summer. This makes it an appealing venue for event planners in the music and culture sectors, as well as organisers of larger open-air events.
For concerts, Waldbühne can accommodate up to 2,500 standing guests. The park's natural surroundings define the character of the venue and set it apart from a traditional concert hall. Guests can enjoy a live performance while spending time in a green setting, while organisers can make use of a dedicated outdoor stage in a central location in Oelde. The City of Oelde and Forum Oelde are regularly involved in the cultural and events programme at the venue. Events organised by external organisers are also held there.
When planning an event, the open-air setting and the capacity designed for a standing audience are key considerations. The stage is particularly well suited to concert productions, music festivals and other live shows where an outdoor setting is part of the event experience. As an established venue in Vier-Jahreszeiten-Park, Sparkassen-Waldbühne complements the city's cultural offering and gives organisers a distinctive stage for audiences from Oelde and the surrounding region.
