The Woodshed - Topeka

The Woodshed - Topeka offers two indoor spaces for organisers planning weddings, private celebrations, business functions and community events. The larger option, the Moose Ballroom, covers 6,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 400 people. Its layout includes a substantial dance floor, a stage, a bar and a separate area for setting up a buffet. An adjoining kitchen is available for use by an event organiser's caterer, so planners can arrange their own food service.

For smaller gatherings, Studio 555 provides 3,500 square feet of lounge-style space for up to 200 guests. Permanent booths and tables, a bar setup and a dance floor make it suitable for social occasions where guests can gather, eat and dance in one room. The venue describes the space as a setting for events ranging from recording sessions to retirement parties.

The Woodshed also welcomes organisers arranging formal weddings, banquet dinners, theatre productions, celebrations of life, baby showers, concerts and other gatherings. Its rooms combine retro and rustic details, giving planners a characterful alternative to a plain function room. Both spaces offer different capacities and styles under one roof, while the ballroom's stage and dance floor can support programmes that include speeches or entertainment. The venue is located on North Kansas Avenue in Topeka. Organisers can contact the team to discuss their event and find out whether the spaces suit their plans.
