Arena Rostock is a municipally operated multi-purpose venue on Tschaikowskistraße. It serves as a home venue for Rostock sports clubs and also provides space for events outside the regular league programme. Many people still know the venue by its former name, OSPA-Arena, but today it operates as Arena Rostock.
For event planners, the venue is suitable for sports tournaments, conferences, members' meetings, trade fairs, concerts and martial arts events, among other things. Events already held there include a fashion fair, a Landesturnschau and concerts. Various teams also use the arena for home matches, including basketball, volleyball and handball teams. This makes the venue particularly suitable for sports-related events or events with a larger audience.
The venue is in the Reutershagen district of Rostock and, as a sports and events venue, is geared towards ongoing use by clubs, schools and the public. Depending on the occasion and layout, organisers can enquire about using it for a suitable event. The specific options, available dates, capacities, technical facilities and organisational requirements should be agreed directly with the municipal operator. Questions about entry, seating, stage set-up and additional services also depend on the individual event concept.
Those looking for a functional venue in Rostock for a public sporting event, a conference or another large gathering will find an established events venue in Arena Rostock, with ongoing sports fixtures and events.
