Brechin City Hall

Brechin City Hall is a community-run venue in the centre of Brechin, available to hire throughout the year for private celebrations, community gatherings and public performances. Its main hall can accommodate up to 120 guests for general events, making it suitable for weddings, birthday parties, themed socials and other occasions. For theatrical and cinema presentations, balcony seating increases the audience capacity to 280.

The hall has hosted a broad mix of activities, from concerts, pantomimes and film screenings to coffee mornings, bingo and social events. Organisers can enquire about using the main hall, the lesser hall or both, depending on the requirements of their event. The venue also lists a kitchen and stage lighting as facilities that can be included for an additional charge. Booking arrangements include time for set-up and dismantling, with enquiries handled by the hall's bookings team.

As a locally managed hall, Brechin City Hall offers organisers a flexible setting for events that need a traditional community venue rather than a hotel or dedicated conference centre. It welcomes bookings for weddings and family occasions as well as performances and other gatherings. The hall's theatre-style layout and balcony can suit events with a seated audience, while the choice of rooms gives organisers options for different formats and group sizes. Prospective hirers can request the application form and terms of hire before confirming a booking, and should contact the hall directly to discuss availability, facilities and the best arrangement for their event.
