Palapa

Palapa is an event space at Upper Buena Vista in Miami, designed for gatherings that benefit from an outdoor setting and a distinctive sense of place. Set beneath a large tiki structure and surrounded by tropical greenery, it offers a relaxed backdrop for private celebrations, social occasions and cultural events. The venue also hosts live music performances, bringing an intimate, entertainment-focused atmosphere to the space.

The venue includes 3,500 square feet under roof and a further 1,500 square feet of open-air space. Its published capacities range from 70 to 200 guests for standing events, or 70 to 160 guests for seated gatherings. The covered area offers shelter from rain, while the open-air section gives organisers room to make use of Miami's outdoor climate. Together, these areas provide options for different event layouts and guest experiences.

Organisers can enquire about booking the space for a private event, with the Upper Buena Vista venues team handling enquiries. Palapa is part of a wider destination that includes dining, shops and other experiences, which may be useful when planning a gathering for guests. Its setting and live music programme make it a fit for celebrations and occasions where atmosphere is an important part of the brief. The venue's published information focuses on the space itself, so organisers should confirm availability, event arrangements and any service requirements directly when making an enquiry.
