Bent Oaks Manor

Bent Oaks Manor is a historic event venue in Roanoke, Virginia, offering a private estate setting for weddings, celebrations and company gatherings. Its early twentieth-century manor house, garden and courtyard give organisers a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces, with views towards Mill Mountain and original architectural character throughout the grounds.

The venue can accommodate intimate events in several formats. It hosts seated dinners for up to 40 guests, indoor cocktail receptions for up to 75, and events of up to 120 when outdoor areas are included. Wedding options include full-day bookings, weekend celebrations, elopements and micro weddings. Couples planning a longer stay can book the property for a wedding weekend, with designated spaces for preparations, a rehearsal and the main celebration. Other events, including showers, private parties, retreats and photography sessions, can also be arranged.

Event spaces include a ballroom, dining room, room for serving drinks and a fully equipped kitchen. Tables and chairs are included with some packages, while organisers can bring their own licensed and insured suppliers or ask for recommendations from the venue. Catering is not provided in-house, so planners can select an external caterer to suit their event.

Five on-site accommodation options sleep up to 13 guests, making the manor useful for wedding parties, visiting family or small groups attending a retreat. Lodging is included with certain event packages, and rooms may also be booked individually. Bent Oaks Manor is close to downtown Roanoke, with tours available by appointment for organisers who want to see the rooms and grounds before choosing a package.
