The Farmstead Venue

The Farmstead is a wedding and event venue set on a working family farm in Shawnee, Oklahoma, around 40 minutes east of downtown Oklahoma City. Its rural setting offers organisers open views across the surrounding landscape, alongside modern facilities for celebrations and business events.

The property includes a Main Hall for indoor gatherings, outdoor ceremony and reception areas, and several distinct locations across the grounds. Couples can choose an outdoor ceremony beneath a mature tree or in a wheat field, while the hall provides a sheltered setting for receptions and other occasions. The Wedding Tree area can accommodate larger outdoor gatherings, and the Main Hall is suited to events of up to around 200 guests. The venue's website also describes capacity for up to 250 seated guests across its event offering.

Wedding packages include venue hire and access to the property, tables and gold Chiavari chairs for up to 200 guests, a preferred supplier list, and use of separate bridal and groom preparation spaces. Optional arrangements include an on-site rehearsal dinner and a horse-drawn carriage send-off. The bridal suite provides space to prepare and relax, while the separate groom's quarters include dressing facilities and a games area.

The Farmstead also welcomes birthday parties, holiday celebrations, family reunions, concerts, corporate events, workshops and team retreats. Organisers can enquire about packages suited to their event and guest numbers. With indoor and outdoor options in one location, the venue gives planners flexibility to shape a gathering around its countryside setting, whether they are arranging a wedding, a private celebration or a company event.
